His history

Jack decided to start teaching in 1967 when he was in Los Angeles, as an acting member of the Inner City Repertory Company.

Jack Waltzer was one of the original teachers personally chosen Lee Strasberg when he started the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City. Jack’s teaching has tremendously been influenced by the great teachers and directors of Stanislavsky’s system, with whom he trained and worked with for many years.

Jack Waltzer is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio, and trained intensively for many years with America’s foremost teachers and directors of the Stanislavsky System. These include Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Bobby Lewis, Uta Hagen and Elia Kazan, among others.
